2 day weekend workshop with MUSEUM MAKERS where you will be taught the ins and outs of preparing a taxidermy mount of a bird (supplied) The skills you will learn are at a Museum standard taught by Dean Smith and Ewin Wood with a combined experience in Museum preparation for over 60 years.

Workshop Itinerary:
Day 1 AM
Introduction to taxidermy and the methods over a morning cuppa. Followed by the correct methods to remove the skin and record data for making a manikin.
Day 1 PM
After a localy made scrumtious lunch we will continue cleaning the skins followed by making your manikin
Day 2
The day will consist of preparing your bird skin and mounting the skin onto your manikin.Celebrate by finishing the details and wraping for you to take home whilst it dries for two weeks. you will be given a small painting kit to finish the finer details, with instructions provided.
